1.The film's music was very successful and critically acclaimed. The song "Nazrein Mili" was on the top of India's music charts for quite some time.

2.Aashiq Deewana..This was an uncredited adaptation of Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" (1958). Ritchie Valens himself derived his version from a Mexican folk song. Another popular version of this song, by Los Lobos, featured in the 1987 film, "La Bamba"
