5. The film was almost shelved . Due to financial problems, the financier took the film away from Vijay Anand and threatened to never have the film released. Dev Anand had to step in and pay rupees 40 lakhs to get the film away from the financiers and have the film release.
6. The title music in the movie was very similar to Dil Sangeet Ka Deewana from Hoshiyaar.
7. Mera Sunder Sapna Beet Gaya’ from DO BHAI (1947) and “Main Tere Liye” in MAIN TERE LIYE (1988).
8. The Dance Music used in the film’s title’s was sampled from Bappi Lahiri’s own song “Aya Hoon Main Music Lover” from his pop album Dance Dance -Music Lover.
