6. Film was launched in early 1987 but ran into budget issues and completed in 1990. Film had a limited release in January 1991 and was a disaster.
7. Film is a 100% carbon copy of the 1984 Hollywood film Splash. There are direct scenes and lines from the Hollywood film.
8. Singer Suman Kalyanpur sang her last film song in Veerana. It was a haunting melody “O Saathi re tu kahan hai” picturised on the leading lady Jasmin.
9. Hemant Birjee,Jasmine,Sahila Chaddha ,Satish Shah and Vijendra were not part of the cast when it was announced in 1985.
